i love this carseat :) the pattern is sooo pretty and looks even better in person. i am a loyal graco buyer and the snugride 30 was a no-brainer. it is solid and sturdy, but doesn't feel like it weighs 100 pounds. i have a small car and this fits as well as i could ask. the quality is superior, and the material is very nice, the inner sides and outer part of the head reat insert are nice and soft, the rest (pattern and dark brown outside edge) is going to be very easy to clean-same material as my older childs natalius-and is pretty moisture resistant,but still soft. overall, very gald i picked this seat. can't wait to bring baby home-will update review once we have started using for a while! also i recieved this less than 48hours after it shipped from amazon, which i have noticed i always get my items from amazon much quicker than promised :)
I had the a snugride in a different color with my daughter (born in 09) and will be purchasing another one this time aruond (due in July). I just need to comment on the "most helpful" negative review because honestly the review is negative for misinformed reasons. You aren't supposed to buckle your child into his or her car seat with a thick jacket on. It is unsafe because the straps cannot rest firmly against your child. So PLEASE don't think this is a fault of the seat. You should be removing heavy coats and blankets prior to buckling your child in the seat, for safety's sake. As for the car seat not fitting in the shopping cart... car seats should not be on the top of the cart. They should only be placed inside the basket. Infant seats were not made to "snap" onto the top of a cart and many infants get hurt when their parents do this and the cart tips or the seat flips over. Graco SnugRide 30 Infant Car Seat - The snugride was an awesome seat, we had absolutely NO problems with it and we are looking forward to purchasing another.
